Fall
Creek Gorge
Fall Creek Gorge is a small Nature Conservation Area (the parking lot only provides parking for 6-8 cars) near Attica, Indiana. Fall Creek passes through the sandstone cliffs in this area. The action of the water along the narrow bed has cut deeply into the cliffs and has created numerous small basins called the Potholes. These potholes range from about a 1 foot wide to as much as 6 feet wide and have depths of 4 - 5 feet. At the end of the pothole section, the river bed levels out where you can walk upstream to a small waterfall.
